Idan’s First Birthday Party – NJ Children Photographer

Janine and Gabe had contacted me a few weeks back regarding a cake smash and the coverage of their son’s first birthday party. I was honored to cover  two such big  events of a child’s young life. This family is truly beautiful inside and out and so much fun…

If you’re interested, to see some pictures of the cake smash session, head over HERE!

Jon and I covered a little 15 minute family session together before the party started.

Then Jon left as the guests started to roll in… and the party started!

What a fabulous set up they had for the adorable cakes!

There were so many fun things to do for all the kids at the party from face painting…

to parachute and ball games, spin art, and more.

Look at this mini “Mommy and me Session” of the birthday boy and his mommy…. aren’t they so cute? …

here a few close ups of some of the kids….

a few more impressions of this adorable and fun party …

I have many more to share but for now, I say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Idan!

Thank you for letting me capture such a fun first birthday party! I am looking forward to see you and your family again soon!

Jill – Actress Headshots – NJ Photographer

We were recently approached by Jill, a professional actress, looking to update her audition head-shots. Jill was in desperate need of a fresh set of photographs to accurately represent her “look” and personality. These days, the majority of contemporary head-shots are presented in color so I decided on a clean white backdrop, bright even lighting, and unique catch-lights. While doing some research on the “look” I wanted to create for Jill I came across Peter Hurley, the current guy-to photographer for professional actors in NYC and LA. Hurley’s headshots are amazing, have very unique catch-lights, and are very much about representing the subjects true personality. We were thrilled with the outcome of the shoot and more importantly, so was Jill! Here are a couple samples from the session.

If you’re looking to update your head-shots (every performer should update their photograph at least once every 2 years!), looking for a corporate portrait, or simply want to update your Facebook profile pic then give us a shout. Thanks for reading, Oh, to see some of Peter Hurley’s work check out http://peterhurley.com

Idan’s first Birthday Cake Smash – NJ Photographer

Oh my, ….this little boy won my heart at hello! What a sweet, sweet, sweet personality he has!

I had so much fun capturing this little boy’s cake smash session. The mom likes rather neutral colors and a pure feel to the pictures, I think we captured that. I can’t wait to photograph his birthday party!

Here are a few pics of his session:

Love,
