Not very long ago, when life was ordinary, I met up with two special people for their beach maternity shoot at Coral Cove Park in Tequesta, Florida. Coral Cove park is one of my favorite places to photograph people and I am proud to have a yearly permit to shoot there. I love that spot as it has a nice boardwalk with leading lines, sea-grapes and large palm trees. Not to forget, the beach itself is clean with nice sand and the clifflike rocks along the shoreline create a gorgeous beachy backdrop. The lighting is perfect in the late afternoon. Sunset sessions are my favorite session for lighting.

It was a late afternoon, when I met my clients their sunset session. We had an instant connection and I adored the couple from the get-go. Can I tell you how much I love their tattoo artistry that covers their sleeves, and their free spirited mindsets? Tara’s genuine smile and sweet demeanor shows in their maternity portraits I was able to shoot for them. That pregnancy glow looks beautiful on her and is easy to spot. She looked like a goddess or a mermaid as she was sitting on the rocks by the water. I have such a wonderful job. I can’t wait to see this mommy-to-be again and photograph their newborn session.
